Dr. Tom D. Harris Jr.

 Tom Harris passed away at the age of 88 on January 24 in his home of

48 years in Woodside, California.

Dr Harris was an avid horseman who enjoyed a variety of equestrian

activities, including ranch work on his uncle's cattle ranch in West Texas

as a teenager, training in the U.S. Calvary on horseback, training jumping

horses for the 1948 Olympics, many years of foxhunting and playing polo.

Dr. Harris especially loved playing polo, and he was pleased that the

Horse Park Polo Club, which he founded in 1985 in Woodside, continues

to flourish and bring so much enjoyment to all who play and learn the game there.

There will be a Remembrance Bench presented by the Horse Park Polo

Club & Plaque presented by the Los Altos Hounds Club

on May 11th at 10:00 am.

The family wishes memorial contributions to be made

to the Horse Park at Woodside or to the Los Altos Hounds.
